Orthodontics truly is the best profession. I am so fortunate to be able to share all the knowledge I have learned with my patients in order to give them beautiful, healthy smiles. The impact that orthodontics has on individuals is life changing, and to be able to be a part of that life-changing experience is so rewarding.
Orthodontics changed my life when I was a child, and I knew from that moment I wanted to have the same effect on people. Orthodontics is a unique specialty because it allows me to work with all types of patients, from young kids to adults. Regardless of their age, I am dedicated to making all my patients’ experiences at Struble Orthodontics exceptional.
Education and Continuing Education
I attended Oregon State University for my Bachelor of Science, and progressed to Oregon Health & Science University for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I earned my Master of Science and certification in orthodontics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Orthodontics is one of the fastest-growing areas in dentistry, which is what makes it so exciting! It is very important to me to stay current with technology and various techniques. Orthodontic care continues to improve and adapt to benefit the patient, and I want to stay current with these changes in order to serve my patients better.
I attend many continuing education courses offered by regional and national orthodontic societies to keep up with recent trends in the field. My current memberships include the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontists, Oregon Dental Association, Central Oregon Dental Society, and American Dental Association.
Outside the Office
I am an Oregon Native. Throughout my childhood, central Oregon was always a place where my family would vacation. My husband and I have decided to make Central Oregon our permanent home and it feels like a dream to be able to live here full time now!
I have a wonderfully supportive husband named Trevor. He is a very talented artist! He owns a glass studio out at the Oregon Coast that specializes in beautiful blown-glass light fixtures. We are very excited to get involved with the local art community here in central Oregon. We also have a goofy golden retriever named Garth.
You will find Trevor, Garth, and myself outside on my days off! I love to run, hike, mountain bike, ski, camp … anything outdoors. Bend is the perfect playground for us and we are excited to embed ourselves in this fantastic community!
